Software
- Custom AI Behaviors lets a user describe an automation in everyday language. The Hue AI assistant builds it from triggers, conditions and lighting actions. It requires the Hue Bridge Pro and arrives by software update in early October 2026 in supported languages.[1]
- Back-up & Restore is previewed and has no release date. It backs up lights, accessories, rooms, zones, scenes and automations to the Hue cloud for both the Hue Bridge and Bridge Pro. Restoring is initially limited to the Bridge Pro.[1]
- A Sonos integration arrives by software update in November 2026. It assigns Sonos Favorites, play and pause, volume and track skipping to selected Hue switches, including the Tap Dial Switch.[1]
Entertainment
- The Play Screen Sync costs $119.99 and the Play HDMI sync box 4K costs $149.99. Both were available September 3. Starter kits have no date.[1]
- Bridgeless sync, available September 3, pairs one Play gradient TV strip light with the sync box 4K or Screen Sync over Bluetooth without a Hue Bridge. A Hue Bridge or Bridge Pro extends it to up to 10 lights.[1]
- The Play gradient strip light pro starts at $179.99 and is available September 15, in 65-inch and 100-inch options. Signify says the range now includes a version for TVs up to 100 inches for the first time.[1]
- The 85-inch Play gradient strip light costs $149.99 and is available October 6.[1]
