What was announced

Home Assistant announced on October 13 that LEDVANCE joined the Works with Home Assistant program.[1]
LEDVANCE brings 116 certified devices to the program.[1]
Works with Home Assistant is a certification program. Home Assistant describes it as highlighting devices it knows work well with Home Assistant, from brands committed to supporting them long-term.[1]

Certified devices

Every certified LEDVANCE device uses Matter over Wi-Fi.[1]
Home Assistant says the devices need no extra gear. They connect to the home network and talk to Home Assistant directly.[1]
The devices include bulbs, spotlights, downlights, ceiling and wall lights, floor lamps and LED strips. They also include the OSRAM SMART+ Plug and smart wall switches.[1]

Certification requirements

Certified devices must provide the functionality expected in Home Assistant. They must operate locally without the cloud and continue to do so long-term.[1]
The Home Assistant team tested the devices in-house. The tests used a standard Wi-Fi connection and the certified Matter integration.[1]

About LEDVANCE

LEDVANCE was founded in 2016, when OSRAM spun off its general lighting business. It has offices in more than 50 countries and customers in more than 140.[1]
LEDVANCE sells some products under the OSRAM brand through a licensing agreement.[1]
