Maps
Automations and AI
- Trigger IDs have a user interface. A Triggered by condition lists the automation's triggers, and Home Assistant manages the IDs. Existing IDs written in YAML keep working.[1]
- The AI tasks page under Settings, System is now named AI. It has a Model Context Protocol card that turns the server on in one step. Access can be limited to administrator accounts. New setups expose all of Home Assistant by default.[1]
Matter and Z-Wave
- Matter leak sensors gain a switch for their visual and audible alarms. Matter locks gain a switch for one-touch locking. Electrical power meters also report frequency and power factor.[1]
- The Z-Wave automation editor has new conditions for node status, a configuration parameter value and other Z-Wave values. The Z-Wave network map has a neighbors toggle that shows mesh connections. It is off by default.[1]
Home Assistant Link
Nabu Casa is renaming Home Assistant Cloud to Home Assistant Link. The service stays the same. The rename is planned for the December release.[1]
