Which Yeelight light strip, string light or outdoor light should I buy?

Yeelight sells one Wi-Fi light strip, the Light Strip Pro, plus Bluetooth-only Basic Strip Lights, Curtain Lights, Holiday String Lights and Permanent Outdoor Lights. The Light Strip Pro is the only one in this line that lists HomeKit, Google Assistant and Alexa. The others are controlled with the Yeelight app over Bluetooth.

Lines compared

The Light Strip Pro has built-in Wi-Fi and needs no hub. A standard pack includes the control box, and each standard pack takes up to 8 extension packs, to 32.8 ft.[1]

The Basic Strip Lights, Curtain Lights, Holiday String Lights and Permanent Outdoor Lights connect over Bluetooth to the Yeelight app.[2–5]

On the Basic Strip, Holiday and Permanent Outdoor lights, the control box switches power and effects, and those effects do not sync with the app.[2][4][5]

The Curtain Lights do not group-control with other Yeelight products. Cutting the Permanent Outdoor Lights is not supported, and the maximum run is 150 ft.[3][5]
