Which Wemo smart plugs, switches and controllers should I buy?

Belkin shut down the Wemo cloud service and app on January 31, 2026.

The Wemo app, remote access, Alexa and Google Assistant stopped working for the affected models. Belkin says HomeKit-compatible models keep working locally through HomeKit only if they were set up in HomeKit before that date. Setup in HomeKit or the Wemo app is not possible after it. The Thread-based Light Switch 3-Way (WLS0503), Stage Smart Scene Controller, Smart Plug with Thread and Smart Video Doorbell Camera are not affected and keep working through HomeKit. The models Belkin lists as not HomeKit-compatible lose their smart functions.
