The ZBDongle-E and ZBDongle-P both work with ZHA, and the P, the E (V2), the MG24, the CC2674P10 and the Dongle Max also work with Zigbee2MQTT.
The newer Zigbee dongles add Thread: the Dongle Plus MG24, Dongle Plus CC2674P10, Dongle Lite MG21 and Dongle Max list OpenThread RCP firmware. On Thread firmware a dongle is only the radio, so a Thread border router has to run on a host. The Zigbee Bridge Ultra and the Bridge Max are Matter bridges. The USB Dongle Plus (Dongle-PZG23) and PoE Dongle Max (Dongle-MZG23) are Z-Wave 800 dongles.
Dongle Plus MG24, Dongle Plus CC2674P10, Dongle Lite MG21 and the PoE Dongle Max, which list Zigbee coordinator and router firmware beside OpenThread RCP firmware.
The original ZBDongle-P (CC2652P) and ZBDongle-E (EFR32MG21), which SONOFF calls the Dongle Plus models; SONOFF names the Dongle Plus CC2674P10 and Dongle Plus MG24 as their upgraded versions.
