Which SONOFF dimmers should I buy?

SONOFF sells four dimmers: a Matter-over-Wi-Fi and a Zigbee dimmer module, and the same two as Orb wall switches.

All four list dimmable LEDs up to 200 VA, and the modules also list incandescent and halogen lamps up to 400 W and dimmable electronic transformers up to 200 W. The dimmers report power use and are for 220-240 V supplies only. The Matter modules need a Matter hub, and the Zigbee models need a Zigbee hub or a SONOFF dongle. Both Orb dimmers need a neutral wire, and the Orb-ZBDIM acts as a Zigbee router.

Lines compared

The MINI-DIM and MINI-ZBDIM are modules for the wall box that take an external switch. The Orb-DIM and Orb-ZBDIM carry the same dimming in a finished 86 mm wall switch, and their codes add -E to the module code.[1–4]

Identify a model

The model code is on the dimmer. MINI-DIM is the Matter-over-Wi-Fi module and MINI-ZBDIM the Zigbee module. The Orb wall switches add -E: MINI-DIM-E is the Orb-DIM and MINI-ZBDIM-E is the Orb-ZBDIM.
