Which Shelly Wave devices should I buy?

Shelly Wave is Shelly's Z-Wave line, and every Wave device works through a Z-Wave gateway.

Most models list 864 MHz for Z-Wave Long Range and 868.4 MHz for Z-Wave mesh, while the Pro 1, Pro 1PM, Pro 2 and Pro Dimmer models list only the 868.4 MHz band. The line covers relays, shutter controllers, dimmers, an input module, plugs and battery sensors. The rows are the EU-band products. Shelly also sells Australia and New Zealand and US models of the same products.

Lines compared

Wave Pro products are DIN-rail mountable; the Pro 1, Pro 1PM and Pro Dimmer 1PM list the 868.4 MHz band, while the Pro 3 lists both 864 MHz Z-Wave Long Range and 868.4 MHz mesh operation.[1–3]

Wave 1 lists 864 MHz Z-Wave Long Range and 868.4 MHz Z-Wave Plus, and Shelly states that a gateway is required to configure Z-Wave Plus devices.[4]

The ordering code is printed on the Z-Wave device label and in the shop listing under EU part number. The Pro models mount on a DIN rail, and the other models fit in-wall boxes or plug into a socket.
