LIFX bulbs are color Wi-Fi bulbs in A19, A21, BR30, PAR38, candle and T10 tube shapes. They join the home Wi-Fi network directly and need no hub.
Matter is built in on current bulbs. A bulb on v3 firmware does not support Matter.
SuperColor bulbs cover 1500K to 9000K whites. The Everyday A19 covers 2700K to 6500K at 90 CRI. The A19 1100 lm also exists as a HomeKit edition under model number LHLA19E26CA.

SuperColor is the main bulb range. The A19 comes in 800 and 1100 lm, the A21 and PAR38 in 1600 lm, and the BR30 in 1100 lm. The A21 and PAR38 are rated 90 CRI, and the A19 and BR30 are rated 82 CRI. The BR30 and PAR38 are rated IP65.[1–5]
Everyday is a lower-priced range. Its A19 gives 800 lm at 90 CRI and covers 2700K to 6500K, a narrower white range than SuperColor.[6][7]
The candles give 130 lm (E12) and 190 lm (E26) with 26 LED zones. The T10 tube gives 190 lm with 52 zones.[8–10]
LIFX separates bulbs by firmware edition. Firmware starting with v4 (LCM4 edition) supports Matter. Firmware starting with v3 does not. The firmware number is in the light's settings in the LIFX app.[11]
The model number is in the table below. Matter depends on the firmware edition: open the light's settings in the LIFX app and read the firmware number. A number starting with v4 is an LCM4 edition bulb.
