Which LIFX lightstrips, Neon Flex and Beam lights should I buy?

LIFX sells SuperColor lightstrip kits in 40, 80 and 120 inch lengths, a 20 ft Everyday lightstrip kit, indoor Neon Flex in 6.5 ft and 16 ft, and a six-piece magnetic Beam kit. The SuperColor lightstrips, indoor Neon Flex and Beam get Matter through an app update on v3 firmware. The Everyday lightstrip has Matter. The Everyday lightstrip is not compatible with the SuperColor lightstrip.

Lines compared

SuperColor lightstrip kits extend with 40-inch extensions to 33 ft. The 40-inch kit has 8 zones, the 80-inch kit 16 zones and the 120-inch kit 24 zones.[1–3]

The Everyday lightstrip has 24 zones, extends to 40 ft and comes with a 4-button controller. LIFX says it is not compatible with the SuperColor lightstrip.[4][5]

The Matter update in the LIFX app removes a device's existing HomeKit pairing. The device is then added again with its Matter QR code.[6]
