Which Flume water monitors should I buy?

The Flume 2 and Flume 2X both pair a sensor on the water meter with a Flume Bridge on Wi-Fi.

The 2X adds a parylene-coated sensor, upgraded Wi-Fi connectivity and a second pre-installed battery pack. Flume lists Alexa and Google Assistant, and says it does not integrate with HomeKit or SmartThings. Home Assistant has a Flume integration that polls the cloud.
