Which Aqara thermostats should I buy?

Aqara's thermostat lines are the Radiator Thermostats (W600 and E1), the Floor Heating Thermostat W500 and the Thermostat W400.

The Radiator Thermostat W600 is the one with Matter. It is a battery radiator valve with Thread and Zigbee radios, Matter-certified in July 2026. The E1 is a Zigbee 3.0 valve and needs an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub. The W500 has Thread and Zigbee modes: in Thread mode it connects to third-party Matter controllers without an Aqara hub. The W400 is a Wi-Fi thermostat with Zigbee and Bluetooth radios, and its Matter support is unknown.
