Does the SwitchBot Bot work with HomeKit, Alexa, and Google Home?
A SwitchBot Bot works without a hub if Home Assistant controls it locally through a Bluetooth adapter.
For remote control, voice assistants or Matter, you need a SwitchBot Hub. The Bot is a Bluetooth button pusher. It suits HomeKit users through an integration (a Matter bridge). Google Home and Alexa users reach it through an integration (the maker's cloud). Home Assistant users reach it through an integration (Bluetooth).
These models differ from the SwitchBot Bot only by length, color or region, so they share this page. Each is listed with its own details on the line page.
SwitchBot Hub 2, Hub 3 or Hub Mini (Matter Enabled), A Matter controller on your platform, such as a HomePod or Apple TV for HomeKit[5][6] (A SwitchBot hub is not enough on its own. You also need the platform's own home gateway.)
