Seeed Studio is an open-source hardware provider in Shenzhen, founded there in 2008, focused on edge AI, robotics and smart sensor systems.[1]

Seeed also sells finished devices for Home Assistant. The XIAO Smart IR Mate and the XIAO Soil Moisture Sensor ship with ESPHome firmware and appear in Home Assistant through its ESPHome integration.[2–5]
