Ambient Weather devices by how they connect.
The 7 devices include weather stations, air quality sensors and soil moisture sensors. Each one below lists its path (Matter, Thread, Zigbee, Wi-Fi or another) and what that path needs.
Ambient Weather sells home weather stations, add-on sensors and the Ambient Weather Network (AWN), its online weather platform. A December 2019 press release says Nielsen-Kellerman acquired the brand.[1]
Its stations send readings to AWN, and the maker pages for the WS-2902, WS-2000 and WS-5000 name Alexa, with Google Home on the WS-2000 and WS-5000 pages.[2–4]
