# Philips Hue entertainment lights

*Philips Hue / 14 models / 2026*

> Hue's entertainment lights are the Play light bars, gradient light tubes and wall washers that backlight a TV, the Play floor and table lamps, and the Signe gradient lamps. Every Hue entertainment light works through a Hue Bridge over Zigbee and reaches Matter through it. The gradient light tubes also need a Hue sync box.

## Lines compared

Play light bars come as a single pack, a double pack with two bars and one power supply, and an extension pack that adds one bar to an existing set. One power supply connects up to three light bars, and the extension pack does not include one.[^1][^2][^3]

The Play gradient light tubes sit beneath a TV. The compact tube is listed for 40 to 55 inch TVs and the large tube for 60 inch TVs and larger. Both list a Hue Bridge and a Hue sync box as requirements.[^4][^5]

The Play floor lamp and Play table lamp sync with TV content through an HDMI sync box or a TV app. The Signe gradient lamps come as floor, table, pendant, pendulum and pole shapes that wash a wall with gradient light. Hue sells the pendant, pendulum and pole in the UK. The pendulum and pole are coming soon in the US.[^6][^7][^8][^9][^10][^11]

- The Play wall washer is sold as a single and a 2-pack, each in white and black, and each has its own product number.[^12][^13]
- Matter reaches every Hue light that connects through a Hue Bridge or Bridge Pro. Lights controlled only over Bluetooth do not appear in Matter.[^14]
