# Google Nest cams and doorbells

*Google / 8 models / 2021-2025*

> Google's Nest cameras and doorbells are the Nest Cam Indoor, Nest Cam Outdoor, the battery Nest Cam, the Nest Cam with floodlight and the wired and battery Nest Doorbell. The 2025 wired models record 2K video and keep 6 hours of free event previews. The 2021 battery models record 1080p or HD and keep 3 hours. Every Nest Cam and Nest Doorbell runs on Wi-Fi, sets up only in the Google Home app, and works with Alexa through the Google Nest skill. Longer history and Gemini descriptions need a Google Home Premium plan.
