# Eve plugs, outlets and power strips *Eve / 9 models / 2019-2024* > Eve Energy is a metering smart plug sold in regional versions, and Energy Outdoor and Energy Outlet extend it to outdoor and in-wall use. The Energy plugs, Energy Outdoor and Energy Outlet use Matter over Thread. They are mains-powered and can relay Thread traffic for other devices, but a separate hub has to act as the Thread border router. Energy Strip is an older Wi-Fi power strip for HomeKit. No Matter support is listed for it. - Canonical page: https://smarthomecanon.com/lines/eve-plugs-and-outlets - Last checked: 2026-10-20 ## Key facts | Fact | Value | | --- | --- | | Brand | [Eve](https://smarthomecanon.com/brands/eve) | | Models | 9 | | Current | 9 | | Releases | 2019-2024 | ## Currently sold **Eve plugs, outlets and power strips: models on sale now** | Model | Series | Released | | --- | --- | --- | | [Eve Energy Outdoor](https://smarthomecanon.com/devices/eve-energy-outdoor) | Energy Outdoor | 2024-08-20[^1] | | [Eve Energy (Switzerland)](https://smarthomecanon.com/devices/eve-energy-us-canada) | Energy (Switzerland) | 2024-03-21[^2] | | [Eve Energy Outlet](https://smarthomecanon.com/devices/eve-energy-outlet) | Energy Outlet | 2023-12-15[^3] | | [Eve Energy (US and Canada)](https://smarthomecanon.com/devices/eve-energy-us-canada) | Energy (US and Canada) | 2023-03-28[^4] | | [Eve Energy (Europe)](https://smarthomecanon.com/devices/eve-energy-us-canada) | Energy (Europe) | 2023-03-28[^4] | | [Eve Energy (UK)](https://smarthomecanon.com/devices/eve-energy-us-canada) | Energy (UK) | 2023-03-28[^4] | | [Eve Energy Strip (US and Canada)](https://smarthomecanon.com/devices/eve-energy-strip-us-canada) | Energy Strip (US and Canada) | 2019[^5] | | [Eve Energy Strip (Europe)](https://smarthomecanon.com/devices/eve-energy-strip-us-canada) | Energy Strip (Europe) | 2019[^5] | | [Eve Energy (Australia)](https://smarthomecanon.com/devices/eve-energy-us-canada) | Energy (Australia) | unknown | ## Lineup **Eve plugs, outlets and power strips: every model** | Model | Model numbers | Type | Radio | Matter | Max load | Plug or socket | Region | Released | Status | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Eve Energy (US and Canada)](https://smarthomecanon.com/devices/eve-energy-us-canada) | 20EBU4101, 10EBU4151 | Plug with energy metering[^6] | Thread[^6] | Matter over Thread[^6][^5] | AC 120 V, 15 A / 1,800 W[^6] | Type B[^6] | US and Canada[^6][^5] | 2023-03[^4] | Current[^7] | | [Eve Energy (Europe)](https://smarthomecanon.com/devices/eve-energy-us-canada) | 20EBO8301, 10EBO8351 | Plug with energy metering[^6] | Thread[^6] | Matter over Thread[^6][^5] | Max. 11 A / 2,500 W[^6] | Types E and F[^6] | Europe[^6][^5] | 2023-03[^4] | Current[^7] | | [Eve Energy (UK)](https://smarthomecanon.com/devices/eve-energy-us-canada) | 20EBT8601, 10EBT8651 | Plug with energy metering[^6] | Thread[^6] | Matter over Thread[^6][^5] | Max. 13 A / 2,900 W[^6] | Type G[^6] | United Kingdom[^6][^5] | 2023-03[^4] | Current[^7] | | [Eve Energy (Australia)](https://smarthomecanon.com/devices/eve-energy-us-canada) | 20ECF6001, 10ECF6051 | Plug with energy metering[^6] | Thread[^6] | Matter over Thread[^6][^5] | Max. 10 A / 2,300 W[^6] | Type I[^6] | Australia[^6][^5] | unknown | Current[^7] | | [Eve Energy (Switzerland)](https://smarthomecanon.com/devices/eve-energy-us-canada) | 20ECL1301, 10ECL1351 | Plug with energy metering[^6] | Thread[^6] | Matter over Thread[^6][^5] | Max. 10 A / 2,500 W[^6] | Type J[^6] | Switzerland[^6][^5] | 2024-03[^2] | Current[^7] | | [Eve Energy Outdoor](https://smarthomecanon.com/devices/eve-energy-outdoor) | 20ECM8301, 10ECM8351 | Outdoor outlet with energy metering[^8] | Thread[^8] | Matter over Thread[^8][^1] | 16 A / 3,680 W peak;
