# eero Wi-Fi 6 and 6E routers

*eero / 7 models / 2022*

> eero's Wi-Fi 6 and 6E line is the eero 6, 6+, Pro 6, Pro 6E and PoE 6 routers, the 6 Extender and the PoE Gateway. The routers are smart home hubs: eero lists each as a Thread border router, a Zigbee hub and a Matter controller only. The PoE Gateway has a smart home hub of limited range and no Wi-Fi. The eero 6 Extender adds Wi-Fi 6 coverage, and eero does not say whether it is a hub.
