# ecobee smart thermostats

*ecobee / 9 models / 2014-2025*

> ecobee's current thermostats are the Smart Thermostat Premium, Enhanced, Essential and Lite. Only the Premium has built-in voice (Alexa or Siri), an air quality monitor and a SmartSensor in the box. None of the four is Matter-certified. Premium and Enhanced have radar occupancy sensing and include the Power Extender Kit. An Essential or Lite takes SmartSensors for occupancy, and the kit is sold separately. All four list HomeKit, Alexa and Google Assistant. ecobee sells the Lite only through professionals. It no longer sells the SmartThermostat with voice control, ecobee4, ecobee3 lite or ecobee3 new.
