# Aqara Motion and Light Sensor P2

*Aqara / ML-S03E, ML-S03D*

> The Aqara Motion and Light Sensor P2 skips the Aqara hub. It uses native Matter over Thread, so you need a Thread border router and a Matter controller. The light reading works on its own. Two CR2450 coin cells are rated for up to 2 years.
